How to Open an Airless Pump Bottle
The structure of tairless airless pump bottles be differents from that of a standard dispensing bottle and requires the following steps for operation:

1. Routine Disassembly (Reusable)
Separate the pump head from the bottle body: Hold the bottle body with one hand, then pinch the plastic edge of the pump head with the other hand and rotate it counterclockwise by about 90 degrees. After hearing a “click,” pull the pump head upward. For some products, the pump head must be pressed down first before rotation, depending on the thread direction of the bottle body.
Remove the internal piston: Invert the bottle and gently tap the bottom. The plastic piston inside will slide down to the bottle opening due to gravity. If the piston is stuck, use a slender plastic rod (such as a cotton swab stick) to insert from the bottle opening and lightly push the edge of the piston to loosen it.
2. Forceful Disassembly (One-time Modification)
If conventional methods prove ineffective, a destructive approach may be employed to open the cover
Cutting the connection between the pressing head and the bottle body: Use an art knife to cut along the seam between the pressing head and the bottle body, slowly rotating the bottle while cutting a full circle, being careful to avoid sharp edges to prevent cuts.
Open the sealed structure: Insert a flathead screwdriver into the cutting gap and gently pry to separate the pressing head from the bottle body. This method may damage the threads and the disassembled parts cannot be restored.
III. Precautions
Before disassembly, ensure there is no residual pressure in the bottle by pressing several times to expel the remaining product.
Some high-end vacuum bottles use laser welding for sealing, and forced disassembly may cause the bottle body to crack. Protective gloves must be worn during operation.
The disassembled piston can be cleaned separately and modified with a standard pressing head for use as a conventional dispensing bottle.
